My only daughter just got married and I wanted everything to be perfect. The ceremony music by Collage Trio was just that. We were looking for a rich sound featuring flute, violin and cello, and their CD "sold" us from the first song played.

With all the unexpected surprises of the wedding day, Collage Trio performed perfectly. Susan Nelsen (flute) was a delight to work with from our first phone call and initial meeting over a year before the wedding through the wedding day. I always looked forward to her prompt, friendly and informative phone calls and e-mails. In the beginning when I was at a total loss of where to begin, she suggested composers and pieces that are fitting, pleasant to listen to, and work well as prelude, processional and recessional music. When I would bring full orchestra selections as possible ceremony music, I learned a lot as Susan would explain what would and wouldn't work with a trio.

Susan was always open to my suggestions, was interested to try non-traditional wedding music (e.g. the Princess Bride theme) and even found an arranger to score a special song to play for the ceremony for which no sheet music currently exists.

I highly recommend Collage Trio for your most special events.
