Processional: Cello Suite No. 1 prelude - J. S. Bach
• For the entrance of the minister, groom, and groomsmen, our cellist Kristin played this piece solo.
• Upon the entrance of the bridesmaids, the cellist paused, and our violist picked it up where Kristin
had paused, thus continuing the same piece but in a higher register.

Processional for everyone including bride: "Each Coming Night" - Iron & Wine. < this was stunning we must say.

Ceremony interlude for unity candle: The Wild Geese - Trad. Irish
• The officiant urged us to choose something ourselves; our bride had not actually requested this.
He talked over us as we played an on-the-spot arrangement starting with flute solo, mandolin and
bass joining in after the opening phrase. It was a gorgeous moment.

• Our guitarist Bret played banjo for this one.

We did instrumental versions for all three songs; "Eight Miles Wide" was a special request but we waived the arrangement fee.

• For the MOH, our violinist played the melody solo.
• Upon the entrance of the bride, the rest of us joined, thus intensifying the piece for dramatic effect.

As I recall the audience responded with unexpected applause!
